Paris Hilton has landed herself in more legal strife after boasting she owned 17 pets on the US Elle DeGeneres show.
Now, She received a visit from the Los Angeles pet detectives after an animal rescue organisation lodged a complaint.
Luckily for Paris, she was out at the time but the Animal Services representatives reportedly left a message with her maid saying they'd be back saying a full inspection was on the way.
Under LA law no more than three dogs can be kept at any non-kennel, non-breeder or residential address.
